Toyota sienna power sliding doors not working.

I have a 2005 toyota sienna xle with dual power sliding doors. The door is supposed to unlatch first before it triggers the motor to pull it open. Both electric sliding doors will not open. The sliding door latch is not working see the picture of the latch unit.

Problem started intermittantly but now won t open at all. Come along as i struggle to videotape the diagnosis and fix for a 2011 toyota sienna inoperative sliding power door which won t open even when in manual mode. We can think of a few common reasons. When the passenger side sliding door is forced open it can then be closed using the front dash switch the passenger door switch or the fob.

At first the door won t work properly. Most common problem is the motor of the latch fails.
