I did a little research and found this utility called trackballscroll that lets you use the forward back buttons to scroll i like it a lot more than any ahk scripts available. I am used to hold one button and roll the ball to scroll under linux. There are no spare parts available for this product. Click and hold left mouse button back button and simultaneously move marble on the mouse up and down to scroll.
