As always you will want to mirror your design and cut with the good or shiny side down on the mat.

Use the time and temperature for the brand of iron on you are using.
Heat transfer vinyl isn t sticky itself but bonds to the material using a heat press or iron.

Iron on vinyl or htv or heat transfer vinyl is a special vinyl that only sticks to the surface when the heat is applied unlike the adhesive vinyl.
Transfer tape or stronggrip transfer tape see table above to choose the right one for your vinyl type scraper or other burnishing tool.
This makes it permanent either on fabric or you guessed it wood.
Weed the design by removing any excess vinyl.
