The power door lock fuse is 163 which is a 20 amp fuse located in the lower row of fuses fourth from the right photo 24.
Transit side door wont lock.
I think i ve somehow managed to upset the central locking on my transit mk7 as when you lock it all up it seems to think there s a door still open in the back locks the front only and then beeps.
Side door won t lock by mobilevanman thu mar 15 2012 9 53 pm no its at the back of the door at the bottom its got 3 square plates on the body and a plate with 3 pins on the door bitch to get to wiring check they make contact check wiring inside door pillar and check door is touching contact plate get a torch remove rear part of door.
Side door wont unlock by blue estate sun jun 08 2014 8 25 pm l h middle in side of door there should be a black knob turn it to the right if knob is not there poke large flat screw driver in hole and turn towards front.
Removed mechanism and fitted new mechanism to side door still wont lock have you any advice wiring seems ok.
If you do not remove the power door lock fuse the central locking system will attempt to lock the door as you turn the key to depress the active retainer which will make it very difficult to remove the lock.
Hi i have a ford transit lwb 2009 the problem is the side door will not lock with central locking key fob but front and rear tail doors do so was advise that the side door locking mechanism at fault.
I had to take out the lock to repair and decided to show whats happening when rotary knob gets stuck.
I m pretty sure it s not a mechanical issue unless a sensor has just failed anyone have any.
