Transit Van Back Doors Not Locking

Hi i have a ford transit lwb 2009 the problem is the side door will not lock with central locking key fob but front and rear tail doors do so was advise that the side door locking mechanism at fault read more.

I m pretty sure it s not a mechanical issue unless a sensor has just failed anyone have any. Hi for the past couple of months my 2015 150xlt beeps and flashes its lights when i hit the lock unlock button on the keyfob but none of the doors lock or unlock. The only way it will auto lock again is to turn the engine off and restart the engine. I have a problem with my lwb ford transit 350 i can open the drivers door with key i can t open the passager door i can only open and lock the sliding manually i can t access the back doors from inside or open it.

But is it transmitting the right code and if it is is the van s security system actually receiving the signal and if it does perhaps the security system has developed amnesia. The feature is always on after driving the van but if the van is stopped and the doors manually unlocked the auto lock does not auto lock. Ford transit central locking problem. I don t hear any clicking sound in any door either. The side and back doors do not lock with the cab even when the second turn of the key and the ind read more. Ford transit custom key budget so far 300 for keys and 150 for an ignition plus 150 for a new door lock and 300 for security locks oh and the ignition ring makes it 1000. You will pay a big bill getting you re van on the back of a truck compared to the cost of a ring.

My blue key is transmitting to my 09 transit van but it does not unlock or lock any door and have to use key to lock and unlock. I think i ve somehow managed to upset the central locking on my transit mk7 as when you lock it all up it seems to think there s a door still open in the back locks the front only and then beeps. It is not a question of turning on off the feature. So it seems that the signal from the keyfob is reaching the van it.
